Pool enclosure rules changing

If you are thinking of getting a pool this summer, make sure you are aware of the new rules which may be coming into effect shortly. Currently all you need is to have a fence around your property but if these new rules come into effect you would also need a fence to separate the pool from the house.

These changes are being contemplated to make the backyards safer for all of us. The last thing you want to see is a floating body in your pool. This could have an impact on the design of your backyard if you are installing a new pool.

I certainly understand how this can have a large impact of your backyard as we just went through a complete re-install of our in-ground pool last summer. We thought it was going to be a simple repair but ended up replacing 95% of the existing pool.
