We will be hosting an event where you can be up close and personal with a Real Estate Agent and a Mortgage Broker. Instead of going to a large seminar where you will be lost in the large crowd you can sit in front of us and we will guide you through the process of buying a home and getting pre-approved. The small venue is much more personal and you will be able to ask any question you want.

Buying a home should be fun and interesting but knowing all the steps can be a bit of a challenge. Come have a coffee with Jean and you will be comfortable with the home buying experience.

This year was another great year for the Orleans Soap Box Derby. The weather was pretty good and many participants enjoyed the day. Where else can you take your soap box car and race on the streets of Orleans? Orleans Boulevard was blocked off so the racers could enjoy the day. Check out this video and see for yourself how much fun it was. I know that I would have liked to do that when I was a kid, many years ago , so why not prepare for next year and build your own car.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that the 6th Annual Orleans Soap Box Derby will be held tomorrow ( June 11, 2011) on Orleans Boulevard, rain or shine.

Here is a quick schedule of the events on Saturday

8:00 am – Opening of the Site, On-Site Registration, Pit Attribution and Set-up

9:00 am – Opening Ceremony, Presentation of the Racers, Official Start of Race

5:00 pm – Award Reception & the Closing Ceremony

It’s that time of the year again. The Orleans Soap Box Derby is just around the corner. Hopefully the weather will decide to co-operate. This is such a great event for the kids and parents alike. This year will be the sixth year that the event is being held. The date is June 11, 2011 and the race is over to all the kids in the Ottawa & surrounding area, between the ages of 7 to 107.

You can visit their web site to find out all of the information necessary, such as the rules and regulations, how to build a car & you can also register online. This event is held on Orleans Blvd between St Joseph Blvd and Jeanne D’Arc Blvd.

You are going to start seeing the signs all over for the event. When you get to the event you will see that the kids are so happy to be part of this race. You will also see the ones that are in the pro series with the really nice cool cars but the fun part will also be the local kids that have built their own cars. Boys and girls are welcome to participate.

They are still looking for sponsors and also help for the day of the event.
